As RidgePointe residents woke Wed. Aug. 1st their thought was on the annual Hot Dog and Ice Cream social.   Shortly the chairs magically appeared in the courtyard and all systems were go.

What did the weatherman have in store for this special day?    It looked like more of the usual temps in the 90's and humidity in the 70's along with a brisk wind tossed in.   We were however provided with a brief late morning shower to settle the dust followed by clear skies.

As the clock struck 4:30 the command went out "Gentlemen Start your Grills".

The chairs were soon filled by residents and their families, the Dogs were ready, followed by the makings for the Ice Cream Sundays.    The band "FIRESPICE"  was setup and provided music through the evening.

  As the event came to a close the chairs were stacked and other items taken down.   Finance reported a very successful event.
